These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.pattencreative.co.uk, and the services we provide, including but not limited to custom Squarespace website design and logo design (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of Website
You agree to use our website lawfully and not for any unlawful purpose or activity. You must not:
Copy, duplicate, or exploit any part of the website or its content without express written permission.
Attempt to interfere with the website’s functionality or security.
Submit false or misleading information.
2. Services Provided
We offer:
Custom website design using Squarespace.
Logo design and branding packages.
Print (design only)
All services are detailed on our website and can be purchased separately or as part of a package.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices are listed clearly on our website and are subject to change at any time. Current pricing:
Website Design: from £850
Logo Design: from £350
Website + Logo Package: from £1150
Payment is due as follows:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule.
The remaining 50% is due before the final delivery of files or website handover.
Payments are processed securely via Bank Transfer.
4. Project Timeline
Timelines for project completion will be discussed and agreed upon at the start of each project. Delays caused by the client (e.g., late content delivery or lack of communication) may result in rescheduling or additional fees.
5. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing content, images, and branding information in a timely manner.
Ensuring all materials provided are owned by you or properly licensed.
Reviewing and approving work within the agreed timeframes.
6. Revisions
Each project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions. Additional changes beyond the included revisions may incur extra charges.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the final logo and website design will transfer to you. We reserve the right to display completed projects in our portfolio and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed.
8. Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. Full refunds are not issued after the project has begun, unless mutually agreed due to exceptional circumstances.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses that may occur through the use of our services or website. We are not responsible for any content added to your website after handover unless you are paying for the monthly website maintenance package.
10. Third-Party Services
We build websites using the Squarespace platform. You are responsible for maintaining your Squarespace subscription and any third-party integrations used. We do not guarantee the functionality of third-party apps or plugins. You are also responsible for purchasing and maintaining your domain name.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect once published on this page.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Service Agreement
Effective Date: 29/4/25
This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by you ("Client") and pattencreative ("Designer") upon your purchase of any Squarespace website or logo /design service.
1. Scope of Work
Designer will:
Design and build a Squarespace website.
Create a custom logo (if applicable).
Create print designs.
Deliverables and timelines will be discussed in advance and agreed upon in writing.
2. Payment Terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work.
Final 50% is due before delivery of files or website handover.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer.
3. Revisions
Includes up to 3 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are subject to an added fee.
4. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Provide all necessary content in a timely manner.
Respond to communication within reasonable timeframes.
Ensure they have appropriate rights to all materials supplied.
Give full access to passwords, usernames and any other required permissions in order to complete the job.
5. Ownership & Rights
Upon full payment:
The Client owns the final design(s).
Designer retains rights to display work in portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. Deposit remains non-refundable. Work completed up to the point of termination will be billed proportionally.
7. Limitation of Liability
Designer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Client is responsible for ongoing maintenance and third-party subscriptions (e.g., Squarespace).
pattencreative will not be liable for any loss caused by any errors (incl. spelling errors and colour codes) that have been approved by the client or provided in the supplied materials and any variation in the colour of a printed CMYK deliverable from an RGB display. The client acknowledges the difficulty of colour matching and difference in various displays.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
